Mechanics of Materials (CEE 3110 @ TTU)

This tensile test demo shows a tensile test of an steel dogbone specimen including a live stress-strain curve. This test was performed in the Mechanics of Materials Lab which I run. I created all graphics and performed all filming. The video is intended to be accompanied with a live explanation in class, which is why there is no voiceover. Video created in February 2024.

Structural Mechanics (CEE 3320 @ TTU)

These stability demos show an unstable truss collapsing under a load, demonstrating the importance of stability analysis. First, I created a "true" version in Ansys Mechanical APDL; then, I created a "fun" version in Poly Bridge 1 to show students. Videos created in February 2023.
